Historic Newburyport, Massachusetts
Steeped in maritime history and tradition
There is much to see and do in beautiful Newburyport. Its waterfront boardwalk is a perfect example of how it still clings to the sea. Thousands of pleasure boats and fishing craft are moored in Newburyport's harbor.
This city boasts of being the birthplace of the United States Coast Guard. it is also one of the important cradles of American freedom, sending volunteers to the earliest battles against the British. Its oldest homes once housed great patriots, wealthy merchants and master seamen. Take a walk along High Street to view beautiful Federalist homes.
We are very pleased to be a vital part of this community, but we cannot do justice to the city here on our web site.
We highly recommend you visit the official Newburyport Chamber of Commerce web site to learn more. Better yet, come for a visit! And, if you come by boat, please let us know.
